Welcome

We hold our shows "Rain or Shine" UNLESS the grounds are dangerous for the horse & rider. All shows are held at NCRC Showgrounds unless stated otherwise.

August 28- Piscataquis Valley Fair All-Trophy Show

One of our favorite shows of the season, Get your butts to the Piscataquis Valley Fair Show! Check-in with the fair officials to snag a camping spot & stay to enjoy all medway has to offer before or after the show. 

September 18

October 9th Fun Game Show

 October 9th is our annual Halloween Fun Show-Non-Pointed and Halloween Themed. Get ready for the thrills and chills!

Clinics & Trail Challenges

NCRC hosts assorted clinics each year. Join us for a day of fun and learning!

Showmanship Clinic with Danielle Withee -postponed- - Bud Elms Field

$30 Per Rider

Danielle demonstrates the following in her informative Clinic:

*The fundamentals of the quarter system, a well-known method for assessing and presenting horses in halter classes.

*Hacks to get your horse squeaky clean

*Education on proper halter & fit

*How to maintain the correct position for you and your horse. 

*Demonstrations of various patterns.

Jumping Clinic with Nikke Rodgers 6/5- Bud Elms Field

$30 Per Rider

The following exercises will be taught and practiced by the rider:

*Understanding the importance of ground poles and groundwork; the rider will learn how to improve their jumping technique from the ground up.

*The Rider will gain knowledge of Show Jumping philosophy. 

*The Rider will learn to judge strides and distances

Trail Challenge 7/3- Hosted by the Bissell Family, 97 Marsh Rd Palmyra Main

$30 Per Rider

Join us at Bissell Farms for a day of fun for the whole family, lunch included! 

the NCRC Trail Challenge is a judged course that assesses the horse and rider's capability to work together as a team and overcome various difficulties encountered on the trail. All obstacles are intended to help riders improve their horsemanship skills outside of the ring.
